  • BPHE, BA Health Sciences, Class of 1987.

 

2. What is your current employer and position title?

  • Self-employed.
  • Athletic Therapist.

 

3. What else have you been doing professionally since you left SKHS?

  • Master’s degree, Athletic Therapy, Indiana State University.
  • Worked in a variety of settings.
  • Loyalist College, lecture/prof, Athletic Therapist – varsity program.
  • Athletic Therapist, Ridley College.

 

4. What is your favourite memory of being a student at SKHS and Queen’s?

  • The sports classes – working together.
  • Being a varsity athlete – women’s hockey was at a whole different level (way ahead of other places).
  • Lecture hall where we all gathered daily, home away from home.

 

5. What is the most important thing you learned while a student at SKHS and Queen’s that has helped you get where you are today?

  • How to get to know a variety of people from a variety of backgrounds – which translate to = you can do whatever you want to if you try – because all the people around are doing and striving for something – so go for it.

 

6. What would you say to a prospective student about studying in SKHS and Queen’s?

  • They should have never changed PHE to KIN – that was what made the PHE program so unique – that attracted me to Queen’s – the program provided to many other options to use your PHE degree.
