2. What is your current employer and position title?

  • Assistant Professor, School of Kinesiology and Health Studies, Queen’s University.

 

3. What else have you been doing professionally since you left SKHS?

  • M.Sc. in Anatomical Sciences, Queen’s University
  • Ph.D. in Exercise Psychology, McMaster University
  • Postdoctoral Fellowship in Knowledge Translation and Cancer Care, McMaster University and Cancer Care Ontario

 

4. What is your favourite memory of being a student at SKHS and Queen’s?

  • The comradery and competition between PHE years when participating in BEWIC Sport Day.

 

5. What is the most important thing you learned while a student at SKHS and Queen’s that has helped you get where you are today?

  • That is a tricky one… probably that the experiences you have outside of the classroom will also help shape who you become, so being involved in your school and community are important.

 

6. What would you say to a prospective student about studying in SKHS and Queen’s?

  • If you are looking for a close knit group of students, faculty and staff who will challenge, as well as support you as you find your path in life, then the SKHS is where you belong!
