Entrance Requirements

Master’s Program (M.A / M.Sc.)

• Minimum B+ average or 3.3 GPA in last 20 completed 0.50+ credit courses
• English Language Comprehension test results are required for those whose first language is not English and who, within the 12 month period prior to the month of application, have not studied for at least one year at a post-secondary institution where English is the official language of instruction. The following English Language Proficiency tests’ results are accepted: TOEFL iBT, TOEFL Paper-Based and Computer-Based, IELTS, Pearson Test (PTE), and Cambridge English Assessment.

• Evidence of successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree. We admit students from a variety of academic backgrounds and do not specify that applicants have their undergraduate degree in a particular field. If you have concerns about your academic background, please raise this when communicating with a potential supervisor. 

Doctoral Program (Ph.D)

Process

Admission is offered to students by each supervisor on a one-to-one basis.  Prospective students are encouraged to discuss their eligibility directly with potential supervisors to ensure that the student has the right background for their intended graduate studies.
