Zahraa is a 4th year PhD candidate in health promotion under the supervision of Dr. Lucie Lévesque. Her research centres around immigrants’ integration, belonging, physical activity behaviour, and its relation to health and wellbeing. Zahraa has an MPH from the American University of Beirut in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and an MSc from Purdue University in Health Promotion. She has lots of experience working with different populations including immigrants, refugees, and youth. In her free time, Zahraa spends her time with her family and enjoys running, hiking and exploring new places.
