KNPE 337 Physical Activity Promotion for Children and Youth

KNPE 337 introduces students to the principles involved with promoting physical activity among children and youth. Throughout the course, students develop skills to design and effectively deliver physical activity programming in a variety of settings, including classrooms, gymnasiums, and playgrounds. Students complete 24 placement hours in a local elementary school, working in pairs to deliver Daily Physical Activity (DPA) sessions to different classes.
