Orientation Week

Orientation Week is an introduction to campus life, giving first-year students an opportunity to meet their peers, settle into residence life and learn about the resources available at Queen’s University to support their learning and provide them with extra-curricular opportunities.  It takes place in the week preceding the start of classes.

Orientation Groups 

 
Arts and Science (ASUS) – includes HLTH

Arts and Science (A&S) students who sign-up for the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) Orientation Program will be placed in a Gael Group. Each orientation group is composed of approximately 15 first-year students who are from similar disciplines (e.g. Biology, English, etc.) and has three or more upper-year student leaders. Kinesiology

Students who sign-up for the Kinesiology Orientation Program will be placed in a Coach Group. Each orientation group of approximately 15 first-year KIN students has three or more upper-year student leaders.

  • Online Registration Form (fill out & click on 'submit').
  • Orientation-Week Fee Payment (submit online).
  • Please print, sign and mail us all four of the following documents before the end of July:
    1. SKHS Waiver;
    2. Camp Oconto Waiver;
    3. Health Card/Insurance Information Form; and
    4. Acknowledgement & Consent Form.

Orientation Registration Fee Subsidy
Students or families who require financial assistance to attend some or all of KIN Orientation Week are encouraged to contact us to apply for a partial subsidy towards these fees.
