Come September I will be working in Ghana (West Africa) on an multi-tiered project being jointly-run by two Canadian-based NGOs. I hope to pursue graduate studies in the field of global or public health the following September. J.H. – BSCH SSP KINE
After graduation, I will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. I am so excited to begin this new chapter, but I will always be grateful for the amazing four years I had as a Queen’s Kin student. M.F. – BSCH SSP KINE
Despite it being four years already and having all my requirements checked off, I opted not to graduate with my fellow classmates of 2019. Instead, I am returning to Queen’s in the Fall to complete the brand new Disability and Physical Activity (DIPA) Certificate. I do look forward to applying to graduate schools for physiotherapy in the next round, but for now, there’s no rush! In September, I will be attending the University of Toronto for an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I really enjoyed my time at Queen’s and I hope to incorporate my undergraduate experience in Kinesiology into my career as a nurse. A.W. – BSCH SSP KINE

I will be returning to school in the fall at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Hamilton. At the end of this four-year program, I will be well on my way to establishing my career as a Manual Osteopathic Practitioner. Throughout the past four years of completing my undergraduate degree at Queen’s, I was exposed to many aspects of health and the endless career possibilities. After much exploration, I discovered my passion for osteopathy and appreciation for the holistic approach in this occupation. I am very excited to begin the next part of my journey! I will be returning to Queen’s to complete the Smith School of Business Certificate of Business and the Disability and Physical Activity (DIPA) Certificate. After the Fall semester I will finish these certificates online while living at my cottage, where I will work as a Ski-Patroller during the week and Coach Racing during the weekends while also volunteering with the Greater Madawaska Fire Department. Following another summer doing search and rescue with the Canadian Coast Guard I hope to begin a professional health-related post-graduate degree in Fall of 2020 (no rush people!). After a formative five years at Queens I plan to apply to medical schools in the fall. For the next year I have attained a research position at a hospital to begin tackling my student debt. My hope is to be a medical doctor one day soon! K.G. – BSCH SSP KINE

Next year I will begin the Master’s of Rehabilitation Sciences program at The University of Toronto. My research will focus on increasing accessibility to supervised rehabilitation programs for pediatric concussion patients through the use of telerehabilitation. I am confident that Queen’s kinesiology has prepared me well to achieve my ultimate career goal of combining research and clinical practice. J.S. – BSCH SSP KINE
