Learn more about the hands-on learning and research opportunities available in the SKHS! Open to all SKHS undergraduate students, but will be most helpful to those in Level 2 or 3 of the HLTH or KIN plan.
Topics will include the research mini-stream, 4th year independent study courses (HLTH/KNPE 456, HLTH/KNPE 491 and HLTH/KNPE 595), DIPA (the certificate in Disability and Physical Activity), and upper-year experiential learning courses including: HLTH/KNPE 300 (Community-based Practicum), KNPE 337 (Physical Activity Promotion for Children & Youth), KNPE 338 (Field Course in Kinesiology), and HLTH 417 (Community-based Programming & Evaluation).
