Bio:

I completed my PhD in Health Quality at Queen’s University in 2024, where I used a participatory action research approach to explore the mental health impacts of spousal separation following admission to long-term care. I also hold a Master’s and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Queen’s in the SKHS. 

Throughout my academic and professional career, I’ve worked in a variety of healthcare and community settings—including roles as a kinesiologist, physiotherapy assistant, dietary aide, and program developer. I’ve contributed to and led several national and international research projects across Kinesiology, Health Studies, and Health Quality fields. I previously worked as a Research Assistant and Graduate Fellow in the Queen’s School of Nursing, Queen's Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Currently, I’m a Research Coordinator at the Centre for Studies in Aging and Health at Providence Care where provide support and coordination to research and evaluation activities in aging and health care services.
