Queen's Admissions

Students apply to Queen's Arts (QA) through the OUAC (Ontario Universities Application Centre) website.

 

Secondary School Prerequisites Include:

  • Six 4U and 4M courses, including a minimum of three 4U courses, one of which must be ENG4U.
  • Applicants outside of Ontario may have additional requirements.

First-Year at Queen's

Students apply for a Health Studies degree plan at the end of first-year at Queen's and are expected to take the following courses:

  • HLTH 101/3.0, Social Determinants of Health (required)
  • HTLH 102/3.0, Physical Fitness and Health (highly recommended)
  • PSYC 100/6.0, Principles of Psychology (highly recommended)

Plan Selection, First-Year Students

First-year Arts & Science students request a Health Studies plan on SOLUS during Plan Selection in May.

First-Year Students

Change of Plan, Upper-Year Students

Arts and Science students may ask for a change of plan to Health Studies during the Plan Selection period in May.
